Our New Cat

After our wonderful Emi died, I had no desire to get another cat. She was perfect, never had a complaint about her, so I knew I could never replace her. Well, I started longing for another soft, fluffy, lap cat and decided we didn't want a kitten, but one that was older. After searching online and looking into adoption and shelters, a friend of mine emailed me an ad for a cat. The owner was moving and couldn't take the cat with her, so she wanted to find a good home for her. I saw the picture and thought she was beautiful and emailed her to Kiley. This is the first cat he immediately agreed to. So, we went that night, met her, and took her home with us! She's no Emaline, no one can replace her, but she's a sweet, loving, tolerant (of the children) cat. Jasmine is six years old and HUGE. We love her and hopefully she'll be around for awhile!
